Welcome to Clear Reg, where you can find all sorts of information regarding the Windows Registry.
A friend of mine used to work in an autoshop, and on the back wall there was a large poster which said:
“If it doesn’t work, it’s the electrics!”
Auto electrics are notoriously intimidating for the average DIY mechanic, and likewise, the Windows Registry is equally daunting. It may be possible to say:
“If it doesn’t work, or it’s too slow, it’s the Registry!”
Of course this is a generalisation, but everyone needs a little help with the registry from time to time..
